I like this fossil because of the detail preserved in the rock. I am always amazed that something this delicate can be preserved so perfectly.

What was Neuropteris sorebii?

Neuropteris sorebii was a Mesozoic fern-like plant.  It lived during a time when neither grass nor broad-leaved trees existed on earth.
