Tracy Teasdale

Museums to Schools Officer

No matter how many times my scientific colleagues explain it to me I still can't get to grips with the process of fossilisation. What magic could transform a plant that grew 160 million years ago into the picture stone we see today? And when the end result is something so delicate and beautiful, why take away the sense of wonder.
